Who is cpep.in?

cpep.in (Charlie Pepin) is a surfacing photographer in the electronic dance music scene. With his creative drive and determination, he has begun to shoot for some of the biggest names and events in the music industry.

He has come a long way since first breaking in to the music industry in 2013 when he launched his electronic music media source RaveFaced.com. In the last three years, he has served as the creative mind for his company, as well as his sister-company, True Distraction Entertainment, and more recently began establishing his photography company’s brand, cpep.in.

Charlie picked up his first camera in 2014 when he got an email the day of ODESZA’s show in Columbia, MO letting him know his request for a media pass was approved, as well as photo access. Stealing his mom’s Canon Rebel, he was in the photo pit watching ODESZA from a few feet away with absolutely no clue on how to capture a decent shot.

Since then, he has dedicated every show he could get approved to shoot to be a new learning experience. Over the last few years, he’s gone from have absolutely no knowledge about photography, to shooting for a wide variety of popular DJs and producers including Steve Aoki, Marshmello, GRiZ, G Jones, Michal Menert, Seven Lions, Flux Pavilion, Anna Lunoe, ODESZA, Keys N KratesLoudpvck, Paper Diamond, Funtcase, Dirtyphonics, gLAdiator, Eptic, Lookas, Party Thieves, and many more.

He also has provided professional coverage for a handful of major music festivals, including Mysteryland USA, Summer Set Music Festival, BUKU Music + Art Project, Mad Decent Boat Party, Euphoria Music Festival, Freaky Deaky Halloween, Reaction NYE

While currently based in the midwest, he hopes to begin turning some artists heads with his work, and continue to utilize his creativity through photography, and more recently videography.
